Bespoke Abode is owned and operated by the office of Martha's Vineyard Interior Design, a full service interior design studio offering award winning design services on and off the island of Martha’s Vineyard.
Principal and Senior Designer Liz Stiving-Nichols started Martha’s Vineyard Interior Design in 2010 and lifestyle brand Bespoke Abode followed shortly after.
The recipient of the 2016 New Trad Award, 2012 5 Under 40 Award for design excellence in New England, and named one of the Fresh Faces of Design by HGTV, Liz leads the team at MVID and along with Interior Designers / Showroom Managers Tyler Sowizral (MV) and Alexandra Little (SC), hand selects the curated collection of inventory offered in both Bespoke Abode locations.
Always seeking inspiration from our coastal surroundings of Martha’s Vineyard and the Lowcountry, Bespoke Abode’s design aesthetic is a reflection of these perennial influences and lifestyles.
Alexandra Little
As the Interior Designer in our Bluffton, SC location, Alexandra leads the Interior Design department offering full interior design services.
Alexandra graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina. She then furthered her education by attending Interior Design courses in Charleston and in New York City. Alexandra’s education and drafting experience allowed her to work alongside builders and remodelers in the Charleston area for several years. Some of Alexandra’s projects consisted of waterfront homes on the Isle of Palms, properties South of Broad, luxury Airbnb’s in historic downtown Charleston and many more. She prides herself on understanding the technicalities in the design process as it relates to construction. She makes sure to ensure that all design goals can be achieved given the foundational components of the structure.
Growing up, Alexandra’s family spent summers in Hilton Head Island where she found a love for the Low Country and the natural beauty surrounding it. That passion encouraged her to move to the Bluffton area to continue her design career. The South Carolina coastline has and continues to play a huge role in her design inspiration and her way of life.
Tyler Sowizral
As the in-house designer and Manager of Bespoke Abode’s flagship location, Tyler brings a fresh perspective on design rooted in his passion for real estate and love of Martha’s Vineyard and Cape Cod.
A native of Massachusetts, Tyler grew up outside of Boston yet his relationship with the Vineyard dates back to his early childhood.
He is excited to help clients build their own deep connection to the island by designing spaces that are reflective of their lifestyle while utilizing the design principals he’s learned while working closely with the MVID team in the Martha’s Vineyard design studio.
After earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (with a concentration in a marketing) from The George Washington University School of Business, Tyler started a career in Real Estate in Boston.
His keen eye and personal style quickly led to a career in design and he joined the Bespoke Abode team in 2022.
He currently resides in Edgartown on Martha’s Vineyard and in Boston.
